ACCD Regional 911 Board

Call Handling Upgrades & NG911 ESInet Implementation

Maysville, MO - Current Project

SCG Consulting serves as a retained consultant to the ACCD 911 Board which represents Andrew, Caldwell, Clinton and Dekalb counties along with the City of Cameron and recently added, Mercer County.  SCG Consulting prepared a successfully funded grant request for new call handling equipment along with an NG9-1-1 ESInet for the six (6) ECC's serving the region.  SCG Consulting will now be providing project managemrnt services to see that the project is complated on schedule and within the grant project budget.

Emergency Dispatch Services Review & Analysis

Huntsville, MO - Current Project

As a followup to a Dispatch Services Review, SCG Consulting was retained to conduct a public safety radio communications technology and operational review for all public safety agencies in Randolph County.  The goal of the review is to identify communications problems and recommended improvements.

SCG Consulting was retained to conduct a technology and operational review of 9-1-1 and dispatch services in Randolph County.  The goal of the assessment is to identify gaps in service along with recommended improvements.

SCG Consulting is providing some additional services to this long standing customer involving the implementation of new call handling equipment and ESInet deployment which will allow them to serve as a host site for a regional NG911 ESInet with seven (7) other counties in Northeast Nebraska.

Boone & Nance County

ECC Operations Consolidation

Albion, NE - Completed 2018

SCG Consulting providing technical support and cost analysis services related to the consolidation of emergency communications and dispatch services as Nance County considered an annual contract for services relationship with the Boone County Sheriff's Office.  Following the analysis phase, SCG Consulting was retained to provide project management and oversight to implement the transition of services.

Antelope County

Regional Shared System Analysis & Implementation Neligh, NE - In Progress

As a followup to the costs analysis and planning work, SCG Consulting was retained by Antelope County to provide project mangement and oversight as the Sheriff's Office ECC joins the North Central 9-1-1 Region with 7 counties to the west of Antelope County in North Central Nebraska. 

Burt County

Regional Shared System Analysis & Implementation

As a followup to the costs analysis and planning work, SCG Consulting was retained by Burt County to provide project mangement and oversight as the Sheriff's Office ECC joins the Mid East 9-1-1 Region with 4 counties to the south and west of Burt County adjacent to the Omaha Metro area. 

City of Maryville/Nodaway County

PSAP Consolidation Study & Implementation Planning

Maryville, MO - Completed 2020

SCG Consulting was retained to assist with cost and feasibility analysis pertaining to the consolidation of dispatch services at the Maryville Department of Public Safety, Nodaway County Sheriff's Office and Northwest Missouri State University Police Department.  Consolidation of the Maryville DPS and Nodaway County Sheriff's Office PSAP's was recommended.  The agencies agreed to move forward with a mix of virtual and brick and mortar consolidation with the Maryville DPS and Nodaway County Sheriff's ECC's being consolidated under one roof in the new Maryville Public Safety building.  This new agency will be called Northwest Regional Communications.  This ECC will host new radio console, call handling and mapping solutions that will also be used at the Northwest Missouri State University Police Department ECC.  Northwest MO State PD was not included in the brick and mortar consolidation as they provide a variety of very specific roles on campus that would have resulted in an overall decrease in services for their customers.

ECC Consolidation Implementation Management

SCG Consulting in association with RF Communications Consulting was retained to assist with the consolidation of a primary PSAP (Columbus Police Department) and secondary PSAP (Platte County Sheriff).  Services include supporting site/location analysis being conducted by an A/E firm along with costs analysis for all technology components which will be required to support the new consolidated operation.

South Sioux City/Dakota County

ECC Technology Systems Updates

South Sioux City, NE - Completed 2016

The customer conducted a technology refresh for all systems used in the 9-1-1 PSAP, including new radio consoles, new VoIP 9-1-1 phone system, new voice logging recorder and a major upgrade to the existing Superion CAD/RMS.  The project also included the expansion of the PSAP from three operator workstations to four operator workstations.

SCG Consulting in association with RF Communications Consulting was retained through an RFP process to assist with the construction of a new Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) to serve the Fort Berthold Reservation. Services include communications center space layout and procurement and installation management assistance for all technology elements of the new PSAP.

Jersey County ETSB

Adjacent County Wireless 9-1-1 Call Taking

Jerseyville, IL - Completed 2014

SCG Consulting was retained to assist the ETSB in the implementation of Wireless E9-1-1 Phase I and Phase II services for the adjacent counties of Calhoun and Greene.  The wireless 9-1-1 calls from these two counties will be answered at the Jersey County PSAP as these counties have not, and do not plan to implement wireless E-911 services on their own.  This change will result in additional funding for the Jersey County ETSB and wireless E-911 location services for the rersidents of Calhoun and Greene counties which is a win-win for all involved.
